Deacon Ministry

In 2025, Chandler Southern ordained three additional deacons to strengthen our ministry of care and service.

What Deacons Do

At Chandler Southern, deacons serve to promote unity and care for practical needs within the church. Following the pattern of Acts 6, they assist the pastor and congregation by serving the church family in tangible ways. They do not govern the church but serve alongside the pastor and congregation to strengthen the body of Christ.

Deacon Family Ministry

Each household at Chandler Southern is assigned to a deacon family. Deacons regularly check in, pray for, and care for the families they serve. This ministry helps ensure no one is overlooked and that every member is connected, cared for, and encouraged in their walk with Christ. If you are unsure which deacon family you are part of, please contact the church office.
