Men’s
Ministry Leader

Mike serves as our Men’s Ministry Leader. He and his wife Sandy moved to Oklahoma in 2022 from Omaha, Nebraska, to be closer to family. A retired member of the United States Air Force, Mike is active in teaching Sunday School, mentoring others, and serving as a storyteller, tutor, and caregiver in the local community.

With a passion to see men of God rise up and stand firm in their faith, Mike is leading a fresh vision for our men’s ministry, Arena Men, inspired by Theodore Roosevelt’s “Man in the Arena” speech and the biblical call to courageous, steadfast manhood. His desire is to equip men to lead boldly in their faith, their families, and their communities.

Women’s
Ministry Leader

Sandy serves as our Women’s Ministry Leader. After serving on church staff in Omaha, Nebraska for 23 years, she retired and moved to Chandler, where Chandler Southern has become home. Sandy loves studying the Bible with others and enjoys serving and doing life with her husband and best friend, Mike. She treasures time with her eight grandchildren, two grandsons-in-law, and her great-grandson. Sandy’s heart is to encourage women and reach out in the community with the love of Christ. Her favorite verse is Psalm 55:22, “Cast your cares on the Lord and He will sustain you; He will never let the righteous be shaken.”

Minister
to Youth

Jasdyn DeTemple joined us in September 2024 as our Youth Minister. He is currently pursuing a degree in Biblical Studies and Theology at Oklahoma Baptist University. Jasdyn has a passion for youth ministry and has gained valuable experience serving at Falls Creek in 2024 and working as an intern at Woodland Hills Baptist Church. He is excited to lead and mentor the youth of our church as they grow in their faith and relationship with Jesus.

Children’s Ministry Leader

In addition to serving as our Lead Pastor, Joel is currently leading Chandler Kids, our children’s ministry focused on shaping kids to shine Christ’s light. His heart is to help children know and love Jesus through engaging teaching, joyful worship, and meaningful relationships.

Groups & Discipleship Leader

Dale Hoisington serves as our Small Groups and Disciple-Making Ministry Leader. He oversees our Sunday School and small group ministries and works to strengthen pathways for spiritual growth and maturity at Chandler Southern. Dale has a heart for helping believers grow in their faith and walk with Christ in community.

Music
Ministry Leader

Mike Keller serves as our Music Ministry Leader. He grew up at Chandler Southern, where his father served in music leadership for decades. Mike is grateful to continue that legacy of worship, leading our music ministry and working with musicians and singers to shape worship that is guided by Scripture and centered on Christ. His desire is to help our church respond to God’s Word with understanding, reverence, and joyful obedience.
